The venue is a forest west of Bandon, Co. Cork. The exact location will be announced to participants closer to the date. Numbers are limited to 20.
We will be meeting at 11am for a an introduction to Mushroom Hunting from Bill O'Dea. We will then forage for mushrooms for about 2 hours. This will be followed by identification of our find, and cooking of edible mushrooms.

Meet at 11am. People will need to travel by their own means. Exact directions will be given closer to the date.
Return to Car Park at 1pm for further identification and cooking of edibles. People should bring their own packed lunch.
Finish about 3.30PM.
We would expect to find over 50 different types of mushrooms on the day. The terrain is suitable for all levels of fitness. Participants should wear walking shoes and outdoor clothing. Also, please bring a basket or cloth bag for collecting mushrooms.
