Bill O'Dea will host a Sunday lunch on December 17th at the beautiful Ballyteige Lodge near Aughrim in County Wicklow.
Guests will be treated to a three course lunch including a traditional roast with locally sourced and organic produce served in the cosy historic dining room around a blazing log fire. Vegetarian option available.
Bill will give a talk on the Wonderful World of Mushrooms including a summary of the 2023 season and the mushrooms found on the grounds of Ballyteige on a mushroom hunt earlier in the year. We will also take a leisurely stroll around the spectacular grounds of Ballyteige including the river walk.
Sean McArdle will give a short talk on the fascinating history of the house and the famous political figures from 1880 to 1923 who used the house as a political saloon for the Irish Free State.
